Every story has a beginning. Ours began in 1992 with an unexpected step of faith.
After leaving a career in radio and believing she might be starting an advertising agency, publisher Debbie K. Slusser discovered something she hadn’t planned for. One of her clients was receiving much of its business through guests of two premier Naples resorts – The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and The Registry Resort, now Naples Grande.
Relationships formed. Doors opened. And alongside leaders in the local concierge community, Concierge’s Image was born.
Created to welcome visitors and connect them with the people, places and businesses of Southwest Florida, the publication became more than a visitor guide. It became a bridge – connecting people, strengthening community and teaching a small publishing company something it didn’t fully understand yet:

For more than three decades, Daks Publishing Inc. continued publishing, listening, learning and building relationships.
Looking back, we can see something we couldn’t see then.
God was planting seeds.
What began as a publishing opportunity was quietly preparing the soil for stories with an entirely different purpose.
