The Relaunch
a step of faith
The story was Interrupted. It wasn't finished.
Our faith is woven through who we are, but our purpose isn't to preach at people. It's to love people. To listen. To share. To encourage. To point toward light. And perhaps, along the way, offer someone what we've come to call a Hope Hug - one of those unexpected reminders that says:
Keep going. You're not alone. Hope is still here.
Because sometimes hope looks like a miracle. Sometimes it looks like a new beginning. And sometimes… it simply looks like enough light for the next step.

God's Direction
Sometimes we understand God’s direction only when we look backward and see the threads He was weaving all along.
During the pandemic, an unexpected connection between a church in Estero, Florida, and churches in Texas opened a door to Katy.
A nudge became a step of faith.
That step led to another seemingly unlikely nudge – to join the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce even though Daks Publishing Inc was still rooted in Florida.
Months later, another door opened when the Chamber invited Daks Publishing to create its new Community Guide. That relationship began in 2022 and continues today.
What looked like an unexpected publishing opportunity became something more.
A seed had been planted beyond Florida.
A light in the dark
Then, in 2022, Hurricane Ian devastated Southwest Florida and interrupted publication of Beyond the Gates.
But hope wasn’t finished.
As communities rebuilt, so did the vision. And slowly, the pieces began coming together.
Florida. Texas. Roots in Kentucky. New relationships and opportunities in Oklahoma and Tennessee.
Old stories worth telling again. New stories waiting to be discovered. A multimedia world offering new ways for those stories to reach people wherever they are.
What began with Concierge’s Image… grew through Beyond the Gates… and today continues as:
LET’S BE THE GOOD
A multi-market, multimedia place and space for real people, real stories and timeless hope.
We’re revisiting people whose journeys continued long after their magazine covers were printed. We’re discovering new voices in new communities. And we’re sharing stories from the mountaintops and from the messy middle.
Because Hurricane Ian may have interrupted one chapter. It didn’t end the story.
